Volunteer Effort Spotlight

"Neighbors Helping Neighbors" Program, based on the LDS Church's legendary home storage practices, helps people prepare for emergencies. LDS volunteers are assisting individual households, homeowner associations, police departments, other churches and local organizations that aid the needy.

Need Volunteers?

LDS Church members are encouraged to serve in their communities through "Mormon Helping Hands." This program enables members to give their time and talents to those in need -- in ongoing efforts or in response to disasters.
